Fujitsu Learning Media selects Pearson VUE to deliver sales partner exams across Japan

TOKYO, JAPAN, June 5, 2013 — A new test delivery partnership between Pearson VUE and Fujitsu Learning Media Limited (FLM) is set to ensure four Sales Specialist exams, which measure key skills and knowledge of Fujitsu’s extensive portfolio, are available at up to 250 testing sites across Japan.

All eligible employees at Fujitsu and Fujitsu partner sites will benefit from a wider choice of centres to sit FLM’s Sales Specialist exams (SSSF), along with enhanced security features which protect their hard-earned credentials.

In addition to requiring greater accessibility to its exams, Fujitsu sought enhanced candidate security in selecting a test delivery partner. FLM candidates sitting for exams at Pearson VUE test centres will have their photo taken to complement other security measures which serve to minimise identity fraud. Candidates will receive an exam score report that includes their photograph taken during the admissions process upon completing an exam.

Ryutaro Inoue, Director of Learning Department 1 of FLM, said: “We are committed to providing FLM customers with the highest level of technical sales service. Partnering with Pearson VUE shows that we are committed to improving the testing experience for candidates. As a result of this partnership, candidates will have greater access to test centres across the country.”

Tomofumi Matsubayashi, Representative Director and CEO of Pearson VUE Japan, added: “This important agreement signifies wider acceptance of Pearson VUE’s commitment to test security and accessibility in Japan. It also cements our reputation as the global leader within the IT assessment and professional certification space.”
