Taking a pause to honour Her Majesty The Queen

As a British-based company, Pearson VUE is collectively saddened by the passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. We feel the loss deeply and offer our truest sympathies to the royal family.

The United Kingdom has established a public holiday on Monday, 19 September, to honour Her Majesty and provide UK citizens the opportunity to mourn together. As a sign of respect, we will pause operations in Pearson VUE-owned testing facilities throughout the UK on that date. We will do likewise in the Commonwealth countries of Canada on 19 September, and Australia on 22 September.

Candidates with in-person exams scheduled on either of these days may reschedule or, where available, schedule an online-proctored exam instead.

We realise these actions may be disruptive, and we do not take them lightly. However, we feel it imperative to join the global community in reflecting upon Her Majesty’s decades-long reign, a term indelibly marked by dignity, duty, and devotion.
