Strengthening professional competence and building public confidence

CWEA is a non-profit public benefit corporation offering vocational competency certification for personnel in the wastewater industry. Through our validated assessment system, CWEA certificate holders have demonstrated that they possess the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the essential duties of their vocation safely and effectively. Some employers require CWEA certification while others encourage it. Our certificate holders have found that certification not only demonstrates their competency, but shows their commitment to the profession, and helps with job advancement.
